Design a Masquerpet Contest!You've seen the Cloak Design Contest and the Version Video Contests, well now we're throwing something real special at you - the Design a Masquerpet Contest!
What we want you to do is simple - draw, design, and provide us with concept art of your very own original Masquerpet! (you know those evil annoying monsters that you grind off of?) The 3 best designed masquerpets will be given to the game developers at Aeonsoft and actually be implemented into the game! Wouldn't you all like to see your creation living and breathing and attacking you in all it's glorious and pixelated form?
Additionally, If that wasn't enough, we'll also be awarding a special set of prizes that will be announced at a later date!

Rules
The FlyFF Design a Masquerpet Contest begins today (January 8th, 2010) and ends on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 at 11:59:59 PM PST
A submission must be 3 2D images (or 1 image containing your design in 3 2D poses) - one shot of your masquerpet from each of the following profiles: front, back, and side. All images must be colored. Furthermore you must specify whether or not your masquerpet is a small, medium, or large monster. Small being the size of an Aibatt or Mushpang, Medium being the size of a Violet Magician Trouper, Large being the size of a Mushpoie or Shuhamma. Last but not least you must also name your monster.
3D images and models WILL NOT be accepted. We understand that many of you may be very talented with programs such as Maya or 3ds Max, but please keep in mind that this contest is intended so that anyone in our community may participate.
There will be 3 all around winners that will receive the same prize.
You may submit multiple designs, but unfortunately you will only be allowed to win once. Furthermore, please try to keep your submissions below 10 per person.
Images may be hand drawn and scanned or made with an image creation application such as Photoshop or Illustrator.
Please try to keep each of your images to below 1000 x 1000 pixels.
All entries must be original and of the submitter's own creation.
All designs must be posted here in this thread before the January 26th deadline.

1. ELIGIBILITY.
Open to all players who are 13 (thirteen) years of age or older at the time of entry. Void wherever prohibited by law. Contestants must be registered FlyFF players with a valid gpotato account. Employees of Gala-Net, their affiliates, parent companies, participating vendors, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies, and anyone working directly on this program, product and promotion and the immediate family members or those living in the same household of each (Sponsor and Administrators) are not eligible to enter.
2. CONTEST DESCRIPTION.
The Contest is skill-based, and the object is to submit a concept design of a new Masquerpet (in game monster) for judging for the chance to win prizes as described below. This Contest is conducted in the United States of America and is governed by California law, and by entering you agree to accept jurisdiction and venue in the Courts of the State of California, U.S.A.
3. ENTRY CRITERIA
All entries submitted must be original, must not have been previously published, released or distributed for commercial use and must have been created and owned exclusively by the entrant submitting the creation. All submissions may be posted on a publicly accessible web site following the contest. Gala-Net disclaims any and all liability for any infringement of any 3rd parties rights in any submission caused by any entrant.
4. JUDGING:
A panel of FlyFF GMs (Judges) will review eligible entries and select the 3 winners based upon the following criteria, each to be weighted equally:

. Technical execution
. Visual Impact
. Relevance to the art style of FlyFF
Judges will announce the winners sometime in the first week of February. The decisions of these judges are final and binding.
5. RIGHTS TO USE ENTRIES.
All artwork submitted for this contest is owned solely and exclusively by Gala-Net, its licensors or its affiliates, and are protected by applicable U.S. laws and regulations, and international treaties relating to copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights. Under no circumstance will you obtain any ownership interest in any such proprietary subject matter pursuant to these Terms of Service or otherwise.
6. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION.
This Contest is void where prohibited. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and Administrators to use that winner's name, likeness, picture and Entry without additional compensation for promoting the contest unless and where prohibited by law. By entering this Contest you agree to and hereby release and hold harmless Sponsor and Administrators from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with your participation in this Contest, or any prize. If you do not want to grant the foregoing release, please do not enter the Contest. Gala-Net reserves the right to request proof of age of any contestant that submits a work for consideration in the contest.
Your entry must be your own original work. By submitting your Entry in the Contest, you represent and warrant that it is your sole original work, and that you have obtained any and all consents, approvals or licenses required for you to submit your Entry and comply with all of these Official Rules, including obtaining the written consent of all 3rd parties, where applicable. You waive any claim of infringement (including without limitation copyright, trademark, patent, trade name, trade secret, etc.) against the Sponsor and Administrators or their licensees based upon access to or use of your Entry. In the event of any dispute regarding who is the entrant that submitted an email Entry, the potential winner must provide sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the potentially winning Entry.
7. LIMITATION ON LIABILITY.
Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of Entries. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor and Administrators are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Contest. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor or Administrators, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify the or suspend the Contest.
8. OTHER.
Illegible, unviewable, unintelligible or incomplete Entries will be disqualified. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH CONTESTANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Without limiting the foregoing, Sponsor may disqualify any entrants from the Contest who deliberately damage, tamper with or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest.
