Patch Notes: February 9th 2010Events:
The Spread the Love Valentine's Day Quest event has begun! Any character created BEFORE maintenance on February 9th will receive special items upon login. Male and Female characters will receive different items. Visit the [Angel of Love] Cupid in Eastern Flarine to find out what you need to do or visit the Community Forums for more details on this event!
The Winter's End 2x EXP when it snows event begins! Starting today, for 2 weeks, players will receive 2x EXP whenever it snows in Madrigal! Important Note: There is one minor issue with this event. If a player logs into the game *while* it is snowing, that player will *not* see the snowing graphic. However, rest assured, you are still getting the 2x EXP and the event message will still be displayed in the SYSTEM window. Players who are online when the snow starts falling, will see the effect just fine.
The Countdown to Lunar New Year – NOON to 6PM Daily Drop Event continues. The event duration is from February 2nd to February 14th (Lunar New Years Day). Each day, from noon to 6PM PST, Mysterious Bags will be dropping from Masquerpets!
New Sales:
[Continued]In honor of the upcoming Lunar New Year, ALL NEW Cloaks will be available for a limited time. Each day, a new cloak will be made available in the Premium Item Shop. Each cloak carries different stats and represents a different year.

Client Updates:
[New Feature] Ignore Player: It is now possible to block chat messages and whispers from players without having them on your Friends List. The main idea behind this implementation is to give players a way to filter out Penya Spammers or other annoyances in the chat window.
How to Use the Ignore Feature:
- To block a player, simply type the following without the quotes: /Block "playername" or /bl "playername" - Example: /Block Cromiell
- To unblock a player, simply type the following without the quotes: /Unblock "playername" or /ubl "playername" - Example: /Unblock Cromiell
Important Note about this new feature:
- Your list of ignored players will be RESET if you log out of the game.
- This feature does not currently block /say messages.
- We feel this is an important feature and we are suggesting modifications to improve upon it. For now, it should hopefully help reduce the spam and annoyances for some folks.
Hotkey Bar: The intermittent/peculiar Hotkey Bar functionality should now be addressed. Should players continue to experience problems with this, please contact a member of the Game Master Team immediately through the forums, or by submitting a ticket to http://flyff.gpotato.com/community/?m=ticket
Safe Upgrade System: Optimized code for the Safe Upgrade System.
Dreadpet Dungeons: Fixed string errors related to Krrr, Mushmoot, and Big Muscle.
Character Window: Fixed a bug that caused your Attack Speed to display some ridiculous amount when a debuff is applied to you.
Moving Items: Optimized code for moving stackable items to and from your inventory from the Bank, Extra Bag, or Guild Warehouse.
Events: The event message will now be displayed every 15 minutes in small white text to inform players that an event is in progress.
Text: Updated the HERO text on both the simple and advanced party windows.
Options Window: Setting Window Transparency in the Options Menu will now be saved after exiting and relaunching the game.
Graphics: Fixed the graphics on two unreleased flying boards.
Text: Updated the descriptions on all of the Lunar New Year Cloaks to be more... accurate?
Text: Translated new error messages for the Ignore Feature.
Text: Updated the description on Hit Reflect to accurately *reflect* (eh?) what the skill does.
