Greetings Flyffers!
I'm sure this announcement may come as a surprise to a lot of you, but yes we are indeed involving the community with the prep work and road to v16. That is, we want YOU, the flyffers, the devoted players, to decide on the names of each of the new jobs that will be introduced in our next update.
I hope you can all get your creative minds going and that you all have your thinking caps on, cause we're literally taking open suggestions!
Here's how this forum event is going to work:
. We will be creating 2 threads in each of the Classes Sections of the forums, totaling 8 threads representing the 8 new classes. There will be a poll in each of those threads with 2 options: 1) To keep the existing kFlyff derived job name, and 2) I would like to suggest a new name.
. If the amount of votes for option 1 in each respective thread is greater than option 2, we will go ahead and keep the kFlyff derived name.
. Should you choose the second option of each poll, please post your suggested name for the new Jobs in v16 of the thread itself.
. Multiple suggestions from each individual is fine, but please keep all of your suggestions to a single post.
. The threads themselves will only allow for suggestions, and unfortunately spam or any other posts that does not have a suggestion in it will be removed. Should anyone want to start a discussion thread for each new job in that specific job thread, that will be fine.
. We will be taking open suggestions starting now September 9th, 2010, up until Monday September 13th, 2010.
. On Monday, the 13th, we will be locking each of the 8 threads. After spending a few hours going through the threads, we will select the top 5 suggestions for each new job. We will then open up 8 new polls in each of the respective Class Forum sections. Each of these polls will then have the top 5 suggestions listed, so that you all can vote on the best name for those respective jobs. These new polls will be open up until noon, 12 PM PST, Friday the 17th. The winning names of each of the respective 8 polls will then be implemented into v16!
. While actual prizes for this event have not been discussed extensively and have not been finalized as to whether or not we will be hosting rewards, we will let you know and update you all once we have decided.
